Location: Leicester, UK
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Pay: £12.21 per hour, paid weekly
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
- Picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Covering van driver duties during holidays or absences
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling
- Strong communication skills
