Warehouse Operative/ Van Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team at our Nottingham Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a hardworking and friendly team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations.
 
Key responsibilities 

• Support general day-to-day warehouse operations
• Preparing customer orders for delivery
• Managing stock inventory and performing stock checks
• Ensure the loading and unloading of the vehicle to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines 
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage.
• Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures
• Play a key part of the team covering driver holidays and annual leave (HGC Class 2 licence required

 
Key skills

• Valid forklift licence (essential – counterbalance or reach)
• Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record 
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage
