Warehouse Operative

Job Description:

We are currently working with a client who is looking to hire a Warehouse Operative for an immediate start based in Old Dalby, Leicestershire.

This Warehouse Operative position is an immediate start working 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load and unload materials safely (Forklift Training will be provided)
• Manage inventory using warehouse management systems
• Perform stocking, picking, and packing of products for shipping and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while handling heavy lifting and mechanical tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling
• You will have a current Forklift or PPT License
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform heavy lifting
• Skilled in stocking, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving
• Experience with loading and unloading goods, including familiarity warehouse management systems.

Our client is looking to hire candidates who perform well on a permanent basis however as a minimum these positions will initially be for 3 months.
