Warehouse Operative

Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves general warehouse duties, frequent manual handling, and heavy lifting. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out manual handling tasks, including frequent heavy lifting, moving, and stacking of products.

• Load and unload vehicles, containers, and pallets safely and efficiently.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to company procedures and customer requirements.

• Assist with stock movement, replenishment, and inventory checks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.

• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks) where required—training provided.

• Follow all health & safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets and deadlines.

• Report any hazards, equipment issues, or stock discrepancies to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift.

• Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.
