Warehouse Technician
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8-4.30, Fri 8-3.30pm
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £31,000k
Project Partners are now recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Technician to come and join a 2 man team owning the warehouse on a big site in Rugby, Warwickshire to support the plant in the spare parts warehouse. Job Role:
- Ensures all Health & Safety policies are implemented and adhered to.
- Comply with the company’s Inventory Policy
- Unloading & loading of goods into and out of the warehouse.
- Receipt of goods & equipment into the warehouse.
- Verify the received goods & equipment comply with the information of the purchase order and delivery note.
- Coordinate the deliveries and transport with the different destinations
- Maintaining accurate stock locations and identification of parts.
- Post all issue voucher requests & dispatch equipment / parts
- Performs stocktaking cycle counts to maintain stock level accuracy.
- Labelling & tagging of equipment / parts
- Maintain good order and 5S in the warehouse
- General housekeeping of the warehouse, ensuring all loose and flammable packaging materials are removed and disposed of in an environmentally way.
- Archiving delivery notes, electronic vouchers
- Managing warehouse inventory levels and stock replacement (MRP).
- Create purchase order to pay the material dispatch through the vending machines.
- Responsible for identifying and disposing obsolete inventory
- Support main duties of the store during vacations, sick leaves, etc (Chasing PO, MRP, Purchasing requisitions etc)
- Support with ongoing stores improvements projects (i.e. labelling, moving/consolidate items into a new storage area etc)
Candidate Experience Required:
- Inventory control, stock identification and location systems & product knowledge.
- Experience of counterbalance fork lift and/or pallet stacker operation, or happy to be trained & use this equipment.
- Understanding of ERP systems. (SAP)
- Spatial awareness for storing of bulk goods
- Stocktaking in high turnover business.
- Sound understanding of MS Office Word & Excel

There is opportunity to work overtime during our major outage periods, usually in February to April. During this period the successful candidate will be required to work 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday and one day at the weekend in collaboration with the warehouse supervisor.
