A leading engineering business is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join its established and growing operations team. This is a permanent, daytime role offering long-term stability, structured training and the opportunity to develop specialist skills within a highly regulated engineering environment.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in the safe and efficient movement, storage and preparation of materials that support critical engineering operations. Working in a clean, organised warehouse, you’ll follow clear processes while building valuable experience in chemical handling and controlled materials (full training provided).

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing goods accurately
• Picking, packing and preparing materials for production or dispatch
• Safely handling chemicals and engineering materials in line with procedures and training
• Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stock checks
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health & safety standards
• Working closely with production, engineering and logistics teams

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse or stores experience.
• A strong focus on safety, accuracy and following procedures
• Good attention to detail and a reliable, hands-on work ethic
• Willingness to learn — full training in chemical handling will be provided
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
