PM shift: 16:00 - 0:00, £16.20ph

About the Role

Recruit Central is looking for several Warehouse Team Leaders to support our client’s expanding operations in Birmingham.
This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who can lead by example, coordinate daily activities, and ensure the smooth and efficient running of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organise, and coordinate the daily work of warehouse team members
• Provide guidance and the necessary resources to maintain efficient workflows
• Support stock-taking, inventory accuracy, and process improvement activities
• Maintain order and ensure care for warehouse property, equipment, and materials
• Conduct team evaluations, training sessions, and safety briefings
• Ensure compliance with working time, PPE, and health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse environment
• Working knowledge of warehouse processes and logistics systems
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to motivate and develop a team effectively
• High attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
• An FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach) would be an advantage
