Welder/Fabricator 

Leicester: Welder/Fabricator 

Pay Rate: £20.13 per hour rising to £30.20ph after 8 hours 
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent or Temporary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with mechanical fitting experience to join a busy engineering team working on a variety of industrial projects across the UK.

This role offers the chance to be part of a skilled and dedicated workforce, carrying out high-quality fabrication, welding, and installation work both in the workshop and on client sites.

Key Responsibilities: Welder/Fabricator 

• Fabricate and weld components to drawings and specifications using the correct materials and techniques.

• Carry out mechanical fitting and assembly of plant, machinery, and equipment.

• Assist with installation, commissioning, and repair of equipment as required.

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, following all Health & Safety procedures.

• Ensure all work meets industry and client quality standards.

Requirements: Welder/Fabricator 

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering trade.

• Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel nationwide.

• Valid Safety Passport and relevant equipment training/licences desirable.
