£14.50 Per Hour

We are recruiting a Welder for a  world-leading engineering company that prides itself on proving the highest quality bespoke products for the heavy plant industry, in the UK and globally.  
The role involves welding high quality components and this involve doing manual and robotic welding.
 
Hours/Days of Work
Monday – Thursday 08:00am – 16:30pm
Friday 08:00am – 11:30am
 
Rate of Pay
£14.50 Per hour
 
Temp to Perm Opportunity!
 
Duties

• Welding high quality components including setting up and operating a range of tooling and machinery, e.g. welders (tig, mig etc.), punches etc.
• Welding components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method of working
• Must be able to read welding drawings and specifications
• Complete work documents and records
• Maintain a safe working environment, follow H&S procedures, and comply with legal regulations
• Ensure work equipment is used appropriately by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns; perform preventative maintenance
• Meet quality targets and maintain high quality standards

 
Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Welding qualification desirable
• Good numeracy skills
• Essential - must be able to read and interpret drawings
• Capable of working on own initiative
