Workshop Engineer

Job Description:

Three Shires Ltd are specialist contractors to the Construction, Rail, Utilities, Highways, and Civil Infrastructure sectors. For over 20 years Three Shires has developed long standing relationships with the UK’s leading House Builders, Construction Contractors, Civil Engineers, Developers, Environmental and Ecological Consultants. Our services include Ecological, Vegetation Clearance, Invasive Weed, Tree Protection, Site Hoarding and Security Fencing we also undertake all other aspects of site enablement.

We are looking to recruit a Workshop Engineer/Mechanic/Technician of Ground Maintenance Machinery with excellent problem-solving skills

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

• Repairing/servicing 2 and 4 stroke engines/ground maintenance machinery
• Conducting routine services and inspections of machinery, including Chainsaws, Brush Cutters/Strimmer’s,  Lawnmowers, and Hedge Trimmers
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on machinery
• Perform set up on new or used equipment
• Servicing of and checking motor vehicles prior to MOT would be advantageous

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow in the workshop
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Follow company Health & Safety regulations

Workshop Engineer/Mechanic/Technician Package:

• Circa. £30K
• Overtime
• 28 Days paid holiday
• Company pension
