A well-respected and forward-thinking two-form entry primary school in Derbyshire is seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join their vibrant Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils as they consolidate their learning and grow in independence during this crucial stage of their primary education.

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging, well-paced lessons that deepen pupils’ knowledge and understanding

• Build on previous KS2 learning to extend reasoning and critical thinking

• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and tailor support

• Foster a classroom culture of respect, confidence, and motivation

• Collaborate with your year group partner and contribute to the wider school team

• Maintain regular communication with families to support pupil outcomes

What We're Looking For:

• QTS with experience teaching in KS2, preferably in Year 4

• Sound understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, including English, maths, and topic work

• Excellent subject knowledge and classroom organisation

• A reflective and inclusive teaching style with high expectations
