Account Manager – IT Services
Location: Leicester / Hybrid
Package: £25,000 – £35,000 basic + up to 30% comms
An established and growing managed IT services provider in the Midlands is looking to appoint an Account Manager to support continued growth across the SME market.
This is a new business–led role, ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and converting opportunities. Candidates with an existing client base they can introduce will be strongly considered, though this is not essential.
The Role
- Proactively identify and win new business across IT support, cloud, cyber security and managed services
- Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound activity, networking and referrals
- Meet with prospective clients to understand requirements and present tailored solutions
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Develop long-term client relationships with a view to ongoing account growth
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in new business sales or account management, within IT or technology services
- A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to generate new leads and manage the full sales cycle
- Existing customer relationships transferable to a new role would be advantageous
