Job Description:
Account Manager / Key Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for key partners, driving account growth, improving retention, and developing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities (Account Management / Sales)
- Account Management: Manage and support a portfolio of key accounts in Cricket, Basketball and Netball.
- Relationship Building: Develop long-term partnerships with decision makers and senior stakeholders.
- Business Development: Identify and convert new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Sales / Negotiation: Lead meetings, deliver proposals, negotiate terms and close deals confidently.
- Presentations / Pitching: Present solutions, run account reviews, and deliver compelling pitch decks.
- Forecasting / Reporting: Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting and production planning to keep orders on track.
- CRM Management: Keep the CRM fully updated to maximise pipeline and conversion (CRM experience required).
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with design, operations and customer service teams to deliver a high standard of service.
- Field Based Travel: Regular UK travel to meet accounts and build relationships face-to-face.
Required Experience (Account Manager / B2B Sales)
- 4–6 years experience in Account Management / Key Account Management / B2B Sales / Field Sales
- Proven track record of hitting targets, growing accounts, and winning new business
- Confident in pitching, presenting, negotiating and closing
- Strong organisation skills: pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and prioritisation
- Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in sportswear, teamwear, sports, retail, ecommerce, clubs or education
- Tools: BrightPearl, Shopify, Trello, Freshdesk (or similar systems)
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence (required)
