Account Manager

Job Description:

Account Manager – Fixed Term / Temporary Contract (6–8 Months)

📍 Derby 

💷 £30 - 40k per annum (depending on experiance)

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at our Derby site for an initial period of 6 to 8 months, supporting the successful delivery of a project that is being transferred to another location.

This role is available on either a fixed-term contract or a rolling temporary contract.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with proven experience managing customer relationships, setting and managing expectations, and producing clear, accurate reports. You will work closely with customers to ensure a smooth transition and high levels of service throughout the project lifecycle.

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8.00am to 4.45pm
Friday: 8.00am to 12.30pm (early finish every Friday)

Purpose of role and accountabilities:

• To manage a portfolio of clients within the aerospace industry
• To deliver on time to cost and quality
• To provide program update reports both internal and external
• Interface with other departments, the senior management teams and customers
• Maintain the Customer demand signals
• Complete orderbook analysis
• Complete risk analysis
• To lead by example and ensure appropriate standard of behaviour and conduct are maintained within the business in line with company policies

• Problem analysis and decision making
• Strong customer focus combined with business development skills/ commercial awareness
• Be an excellent communicator
• Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team but often on their own initiative
• MRP management and deployment of Lead Time Analysis
