Leicester
9 month fixed term contract
Up to £35,000 pa (depending on experience)
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a varied role within a supportive team?
 
We’re working with a well-established business in Leicester who are looking for someone to take ownership of their day-to-day accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of finance and wants to be part of a company that values balance, teamwork, and growth.
 
What you’ll be doing:
 

• Managing all aspects of the company accounts, including purchase and sales ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting with year-end and audit preparation
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements

 
What we’re looking for:
 

• AAT qualified or equivalent experience (ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified also welcome) although not essential
• Confident using accounting software (Xero or Sage experience would be ideal)
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• A team player who can also work independently
