Experienced Bench Joiner – Fire Doors & Bespoke Joinery | Derby

We’re looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our busy joinery workshop in Derby, specialising in bespoke timber fire doors, fire-rated screens, and custom joinery.

If you’ve got at least 3 years’ hands-on bench joinery experience and take real pride in working to high standards—especially with fire-rated joinery—this could be your perfect next step.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manufacturing fire doors, fire-rated screens, and bespoke timber products
• Working from detailed technical drawings
• Assembling components to meet certification standards
• Managing your own workload and working to workshop schedules

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 years' bench joinery experience
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Organised, reliable, and self-motivated
• A team player with a proactive attitude

Job Details

• Location: Derby
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Pay: Competitive and based on experience (discussed at interview)
• Hours: Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
