Working primarily from home, you will cover the Midlands and South East regions, but your location is less important than your willingness to travel as when required.
The Business Development Manager Role:
• Driving new business acquisition in line with strategic growth plans
• Building relationships with prospects across multiple sectors
• Growing revenue from existing accounts through proactive engagement and identifying new applications
• Leading projects from concept to delivery with confidence and clarity
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
• Challenging existing processes and implementing smarter ways of working and add value to clients through innovation and cost reduction.
• Staying sharp on market trends and customer needs
The successful Business Development Manager:
• Proven success in business development and account growth
• Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• A proactive, resilient mindset with a calm approach under pressure
• Experience within the packaging sector, ideally with an understanding of full product lifecycle – from design to despatch.
