Job: Business Development Manager (Forklift & Plant Hire)
Location: Covering Midlands Region
Money: £50,000 - £60,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + Company Vehicle

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable company within the Forklift and Plant Hire industry, seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a business that values customer relationships, offers autonomy in the role, and provides uncapped earning potential.

The Role

• Develop and manage new business opportunities across the Midlands within the forklift and plant hire markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Identify and target new sectors, customers, and revenue streams.
• Prepare and present tailored proposals to meet customer requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage your own diary, with flexibility and autonomy to achieve sales targets.

The Candidate

• Proven background in business development or sales within the materials handling, plant hire, or equipment hire industries.
• Strong understanding of forklifts, telehandlers, or general plant equipment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and winning new business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

• Basic Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)
