IMH Recruitment are seeking an organised and proactive Locality Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and operational support to their locality services for our client in Loughborough, LE11.
* This role is for 39 weeks to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities:
- Organise workloads, ensure consistent cover during absences, and work closely with Business Support Officers to maintain smooth operations.
- Support Business Support Officers in keeping system templates and processes up to date.
- Manage day-to-day office operations including stationery, equipment, and supplies.
- Collect, compile, and present data; support data cleansing tasks.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of administrative systems and IT processes.
- Ensure building and security concerns are reported appropriately and maintain fire safety registers.
- Oversee meeting administration including minute-taking and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
- Manage financial administration such as purchase orders, PCard transactions, and Imprest payments.
- Attend allocation meetings and update the Synergy database as required.
- Work collaboratively with Team, Partnership, and Family Hub Support Officers.
Requirements:
- Experience in business support, office management, or a similar role.
- NVQ level 2 or 3 Business Support Admin qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is required.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Prior administrative experience is essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication.
Hours & Pay:
- Monday - Fridays: 8:30am–5:00pm (Mon–Thu) and 8:30am–4:30pm (Fri).
- 2–3 days in office, remainder from home.
