Job Description:

CAD Technician – Kitchen Design & Manufacturing
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

KBB Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established kitchen design and manufacturing company that is looking to add a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with CAD experience and a passion for kitchen or furniture design to join a friendly, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with customers to understand and develop bespoke kitchen designs

• Arranging installations and deliveries, with occasional site visits

• Checking kitchen orders against technical drawings and plans

• Producing kitchen designs using CAD/CAM software

• Developing new furniture designs using CAD

• Administering kitchen orders and handling general office duties

Key Attributes:

• Highly numerate, organised, and IT literate with strong attention to detail

• Flexible and able to manage a variety of tasks as needed

• Works well independently and as part of a team

• Professional, helpful, and confident communicator, particularly over the phone

• Able to handle tasks accurately and efficiently under time constraints

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Experience using CAD software and/or kitchen planning tools

• Previous experience in planning and administering kitchen orders

• Full UK driving licence
