An established and design-led multidisciplinary Consultancy in Leicester is seeking a Civil Engineer with five years' post-graduate experience to join their growing civils team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and motivated Engineer from a Consultancy background who is looking to work on a wide variety of projects, take on more technical responsibility, and contribute to the continued growth of a forward-thinking, collaborative practice.

The Consultancy has built a strong reputation across the Midlands for delivering innovative and practical engineering solutions across residential, commercial, education, and infrastructure sectors. The civils team-currently six strong-works closely with architects, developers, and local authorities, and is known for its creative, design-led approach and commitment to technical excellence.

As Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects, from small-scale highway improvements to large multi-million-pound mixed-use developments. Typical projects include drainage design, earthworks strategies, external works, access roads, and junctions. You will be expected to work from planning and appraisal stages through to detailed design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting less experienced colleagues where appropriate.

You should hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and have at least five years of relevant post-graduate experience within a UK Consultancy environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site 3D, and Flow (or similar drainage software) is essential, along with a good understanding of DMRB, Manual for Streets, and the requirements for Section 278, Section 38, and Section 104 agreements.
