CNC Machinist

Location: Nuneaton

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £16 per hour

Industry: Mechanical Engineering

An opportunity has opened for a CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing company based in Nuneaton. The ideal candidate will have a background working as a CNC Machinist, Turner or Miller and ideally have experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol. You will also have programming experience for these machines.

The role is normal day work and the company offers 25 days holiday, a generous pension scheme and early finish Fridays.

CNC Machinist Key Skills:

• Experience as a CNC Machinist, Turner or Miller
• Experience programming CNC Turning or Milling machines
• Fanuc or Mazatrol experience ideally
• 5 Axis experience would be a bonus
• Full UK Driving License
• Setting an operating of machinery
• Hand tools experience would be a bonus

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set, program and operating machinery
• Reading mechanical drawings and interpreting
• Creating and editing CNC programs
• Working in a team helping with manufacture
• Inspecting your own work
• Keeping within H&S standards
