Job Description
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines, specifically Mazak lathes, in line with manufacturing plans and procedures
- Read, understand, and work with CNC programs and code to support accurate machine setup and operation
- Set and manage datums, tooling, tool length, and wear offsets to maintain process control
- Ensure quality output through in-process inspection and use of precision measuring equipment
- Take responsibility and contribute to maximising machine utilisation as part of a team

Essential Experience
- Experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines (at least 2 Axis)
- Confident machining precision components within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, rail, nuclear, automotive etc)
- Well-versed machining with metals
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines in a team-based environment
