Coventry (Bayton Road, Exhall)
£16.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Working Pattern:

• Until 31st December 2025: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday 6:00am – 11:00am

• From 1st January 2026: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm (Friday off – 4-day working week)

The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Composites Laminator to join a leading manufacturer based in Coventry.

You’ll be responsible for the lamination of tooling and components for high-performance clients across the automotive, aerospace, and motorsport industries. This hands-on role requires excellent attention to detail, strong understanding of composite lay-up techniques, and the ability to read engineering drawings and laminating manuals to ensure exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Laminate tooling and components using composite materials and processes

• Prepare and seal patterns and moulds prior to lay-up

• Carry out vacuum bagging operations and prepare components for curing

• Load and monitor ovens and autoclaves

• Manufacture templates and cut kits for production

• Maintain quality throughout all stages of the process, ensuring customer specifications are met

• Support and maintain 5S and Lean manufacturing standards within the workshop

• Work to tight delivery schedules while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

About You

• Minimum of two years’ experience in composite lamination

• Skilled in working with pre-preg materials, hand lay-up, and vacuum bagging

• Able to interpret engineering drawings and laminating manuals

• Knowledge of autoclave operation

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Logical, organised, and proactive team player

• Experience in the automotive, motorsport, or aerospace sectors is desirable
