Contracts Manager

Job Description:

Fraser Edwards is recruiting a dedicated Contracts Manager on behalf of an award-winning Construction Contractor operating across the West Midlands. As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction contracts from pre-construction through to final handover
• Lead and support Site Managers and project teams across various sites
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, health & safety legislation, and company procedures
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Monitor project programmes, costs, and performance, taking corrective action where required
• Manage subcontractor performance, valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maximising commercial opportunities
• Provide regular progress and financial reports to senior management
• Uphold company values, quality standards, and a positive working culture

About You

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the construction sector
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management expertise
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant construction qualifications preferred
• Full UK driving licence
