Join our friendly and supportive finance team at Max Energy as a Credit Controller based at our Head Office in Leicester. You will play a key role in managing our customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and supporting healthy cash flow across the business.
Key responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
Proactively chase overdue debt by phone and email, maintaining professional customer relationships.
Resolve queries and discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to prevent delays in payment.
Allocate and reconcile payments accurately against customer accounts.
Produce aged debtor reports and highlight any areas of risk to the Finance Manager.
Support with Sales Ledger processing
About you:
Previous experience in a credit control or similar finance role.
High attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Positive, reliable, team-focused attitude with a willingness to get involved and support colleagues.
