Are you looking for a new challenge where your engineering experience, management skills, excellent communication and co-ordination skills, and keen eye for detail will be fully valued, nurtured and developed?
As a result of our projected workload, we are seeking a Design Coordinator to strengthen our Design Team. Initially, you will be working on schemes across the Midlands but our portfolio enables you the opportunity to work on projects nationwide. The role involves co-ordinating the activities of our design partners to deliver projects such as new and replacement debris screens on watercourses and enabling fish and eel passage on weirs and other structures for valued clients such as the Environment Agency.
As a Design Coordinator, you will use your industry experience to help our clients scope work packages that meet their needs. You will work with our Company Design Manager to help select design partners with the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience to deliver the work to the high-quality standards we expect. You will support our designers in setting technical standards, creating ambitious programmes of work and driving their delivery to achieve these. This is a partnership approach that requires excellent people skills to foster positive working relationships.
