Design Manager – Construction

We are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a well-established and growing construction business delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong technical background who can manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring designs are coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the full design process across construction projects

• Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

• Reviewing and managing design information to ensure buildability and compliance

• Identifying and resolving design risks and clashes

• Supporting pre-construction and tender stages

• Ensuring projects meet programme, budget, and quality requirements

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry

• Strong understanding of construction methods and technical detailing

• Experience working on commercial and/or residential projects

• Excellent coordination and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with site and commercial teams

• Must be based locally or willing to travel regularly to the company’s office/projects in Corby
