About the Role

One of local government clients is seeking an Employment Coordinator to join the Working Denbighshire team in Rhyl.

You’ll play a key role in developing employer networks across the county, working with local businesses and organisations to create opportunities for residents to gain sustainable employment and tackle poverty through work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers and businesses

• Identify and create new employment opportunities for Denbighshire residents

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners

• Support initiatives that help individuals overcome barriers to employment

• Promote the Working Denbighshire programme and its benefits across all sectors

About You

We’re looking for a motivated, proactive, and relationship-driven individual who can:

• Confidently engage and communicate with employers and partners

• Negotiate and influence effectively to create job opportunities

• Bring innovative ideas to employment engagement and community support

• Demonstrate previous experience in employment support, employer engagement, or partnership development
