Job Title: Estimator - Passive Fire Protection
Location: Kettering (Office-based / Hybrid)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Passive Fire Protection team based in Kettering. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for fire stopping, fire doors, and associated passive fire protection works across commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and take-offs from drawings and specifications

• Analyse enquiries, specifications, and scope of works

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing

• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities

• Support pre-contract handover to operations teams

• Maintain tender records and pricing databases

Requirements:

• Experience in estimating within Passive Fire Protection or a related construction discipline

• Strong understanding of fire stopping systems, fire doors, and relevant regulations

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Good attention to detail and commercial awareness

• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• FIRAS / BM TRADA / IFSM knowledge

• Experience working with main contractors and local authorities
