Field Service Engineer

Job Description:

A global leading manufacturer of advanced capital equipment used in precision engineering has a new vacancy for a Field Service Engineer to join the team. Joining at a time of new product launch and global expansion, you will provide onsite technical and training to customers both in the UK and abroad.

The Role

Troubleshoot, install and maintain advanced engineering equipment.

Providing onsite and inhouse training courses.

Maintain and develop good relationships with customers.

Identifying and participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and parts sales.

Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.

Travel to sites, both in the UK and internationally.

The Person

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electromechanical equipment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues.

Able and willing to travel to customer sites globally.
