We are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Administrator / Admin Assistant to support a busy finance team. This is a hands-on role where you will be the first point of contact for incoming communications, ensuring everything is routed quickly and efficiently to the right place.
Key ResponsibilitiesTriage and route incoming emails, including invoices, supplier statements and queries.
Answer incoming phone calls from both internal and external contacts, resolving or directing queries as appropriate.
Open, sort and distribute incoming mail, ensuring important mail is highlighted to the appropriate person.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to communications, offering updates where needed.
Contribute to the smooth running of the finance function by supporting the implementation of a clean desk policy and improved processes.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to triage and prioritise communications effectively.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive approach, with the initiative to take ownership of the role.
Previous experience in finance administration, accounts payable/receivable, or a busy office administration environment is preferred.
