Health and Safety Coordinator (SHEQ)

£30,000 - £35 000 * Hybrid after probation * 33 days' holiday * Funded Courses IOSH / NEBOSH * Swadlincote HQ

Are you a Health-and-Safety (SHEQ) coordinator or similar ready to shape group-wide safety and fast-track your career in an award winning Construction group?

Take ownership of Safety, Health, Environment & Quality systems across several UK sites. You'll keep compliance tight today - and develop into a Senior SHEQ or Auditing role tomorrow.

Day-to-day focus

• Maintain incident, audit and training logs; extract data for monthly KPI packs and board reports.
• Own Eco-Online & Chemical Manager: create dashboards, resolve user queries, train colleagues.
• Schedule toolbox talks, noise surveys, PUWER/DSEAR checks, insurance inspections.
• Help roll out new policies, campaigns and e-learning; support accident investigations.
• Keep PPE, asset registers and close-out actions up to date.

What you'll bring

• SHEQ / H&S administration or coordination
• Proficiency with MS Office and cloud databases
• Confident communicator who can influence shop-floor teams and liaise with senior leadership.
• Self-starter who spots process improvements and meets deadlines.
• Ability to commute to Swadlincote daily during probation; full UK work rights.
