Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – GP Surgeries | Nottingham | Ad-Hoc Shifts

We are currently seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support GP surgeries across Nottingham on an ad-hoc basis.

This is a great opportunity for HCAs looking for flexible, sessional work within a primary care setting.

Location: Nottingham
Type: Ad-Hoc Sessions (Flexible Days & Hours)
Pay: £19 LTD p/h (PAYE options available)

Role Responsibilities:

• Support clinicians in the day-to-day running of the practice
  
  
• Conduct basic observations (e.g. blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
  
  
• Carry out phlebotomy, ECGs, wound care, and other routine clinical tasks
  
  
• Maintain accurate patient records
  
  
• Deliver high standards of patient care and support
  
  

Requirements:

• Recent experience working as an HCA in a GP surgery or primary care setting
  
  
• Phlebotomy trained (essential)
  
  
• Relevant healthcare qualification or certification
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
