�� Job Title: HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers
�� Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
�� Contract: Ongoing or Temp-to-Perm
�� Shifts: AM & PM (8–10 hours)
�� Pay Rates: From £16.50 per hour


JDR Recruitment is currently seeking HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s team based in Coalville. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that supports businesses across various industries including retail, dairy, and specialist sectors.
With a fleet of over 2,000 trailers, our client ensures smooth and efficient transportation of goods—from food to packaging—across the UK.


�� Key Responsibilities:

• Trunking to RDCs and ADCs
• Occasional collections
• Securing all loads properly
• Liaising with the transport office regarding delays or issues
• Completing daily walkaround checks and defect reporting
• Yard shunting as required

⏰ Shift Options:

• AM Shifts
• PM Shifts
  (Each shift lasts approximately 8–10 hours)

�� Pay Rates:  
 
Days £16.50 per hour with separate holiday
Days £18.49 (holiday included)
Nights £19.25 per hour with separate holiday
Nights £21.57 (holiday included)  
 
✅ Requirements:

• Valid C+E (Class 1) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s experience
• Valid CPC and Tacho card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No DR or IN conviction codes
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must comply with infringement policies
