HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Job Title - HGV C+E Class 1 Night Driver
Location – Melton Mowbray
Contract – Temp to Perm 
Shifts - Nights 4 on 4 off or Sunday to Thursday 
Pay: £15ph plus overtime 

JDR Recruitment are actively looking to recruit some HGV C+E Class 1 Night Drivers for a client of ours based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

Duties for the HGV C+E Class 1 Night Driver will include:

• Trunking to RDC's mainly 
• Ensure all loads at secure
• Liaise with the transport office of any delays or issues 
• Do all daily walkaround checks & defect reporting.
• You may be required to do some yard shunting 

Shifts available are either
4 ON 4 OFF Nights
Sunday to Thursday Nights
All shifts are approx. 12 hours
Overtime is available and paid at time and a third when permanent

Hourly rate
£15.00 per hour with separate holiday

The successful HGV C+E Class 1 Night Driver will be required to have the following.

• C+E Driving Licence. With 2 year’s minimum relevant experience
• Valid CPC card
• Valid Tacho card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No DR or IN conviction codes
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Infringement policies are in place
