Home Manager – Nursing Home
Leicester
Up to £85,000 per annum + 20% Bonus (OTE up to £102,000)
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run care provider for an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in Leicester with a Good CQC rating.

The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred nursing care.
You will be a hands-on and visible leader, driving performance, developing your team and maintaining strong quality and occupancy levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
- Overseeing care planning, medication management and clinical standards
- Managing staffing levels, rotas and agency usage effectively
- Driving occupancy and overseeing resident assessments
- Maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders
- Embedding robust safeguarding, quality assurance and health & safety systems
- Recruiting, developing and performance-managing a high-performing team
About You
- Proven experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home setting
- Registered Manager status (or eligibility to register)
- Strong track record of achieving and maintaining Good CQC ratings
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical compliance
- Commercial awareness with experience managing occupancy and staffing costs
- Resilient, adaptable and hands-on leadership style
- Passionate about developing teams and delivering high standards of care
