Maintenance Engineer Job Details & Benefits;
- Permanent position
- £35,360 - £49,920 per annum including a weekly bonus
- Days shifts of either 4am-2pm or 5am-3pm Monday - Thursday
- Overtime available on Fridays to suit business needs – Paid at 1.5

Maintenance Engineer Role & Responsibilities include;
- Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machinery
- Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs/change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down time
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessary
- Ensuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when required
- Updating records and maintenance logs
- Maintaining the upkeep of all working areas
- Fabricating work may also be required
- Ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies; including Health & Safety
- Observing and complying with all good working practices within the company
- Carrying out any other reasonable request made by management, to support departmental or company objectives
Maintenance Engineer Person Specification;
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenance
- Knowledge of auto-electrics, engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
- Be hard working and conscientious using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervision
- The ability to work flexible hours including later shifts /weekends if needed to suit business needs
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic order
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethic
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- A good understanding of Health & Safety
- Full UK Driving Licence
