Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-renowned FMCG manufacturer in Leicester. You'll be responsible for ensuring minimal downtime across all production equipment, responding swiftly to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance tasks. This will be a 6 week rotating pattern of days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reactive maintenance and breakdown response on machinery
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operation
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

Requirements:

• Engineer with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
• Experience in a similar role such as (multi skilled engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician or electrical maintenance engineer)
• Strong experience in an FMCG, food, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Confident with mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Ability to work independently.
