Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Leicester | Salary £45–50K + Benefits |  Permanent

Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for designing bespoke machinery? Join a growing engineering firm in the East Midlands, where you’ll lead the design of special purpose automation systems from concept to completion.

What You’ll Do:

• Design custom machinery using SolidWorks
• Develop BOMs and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Select mechanical components and support build processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions

What You’ll Need:

• Experience in machinery or automation design
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidEdge, SolidWorks for example)
• UK work eligibility (no sponsorship available)
