Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £49,000

Shift: 3 on 3 off – 6:00AM–6:00PM

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site based in DE12 7QD. This Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position offers excellent work-life balance with a 3 on 3 off days shift pattern while earning £49,000.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out reactive breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across site.

This role would suit a proactive Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced factory environment and takes pride in keeping production running smoothly.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with reactive, breakdown and planned preventative maintenance in a fast-paced factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

• Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).

• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous UK experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience working with PLC systems and confident fault-finding using inputs and outputs.
