National Account Manager

Job Description:

We are partnering with a growing branded consumer healthcare business that is recruiting for a National Account Manager. This role offers the chance to step into a high-visibility national account position, working primarily with buyers across major UK retail and grocery customers. You’ll have genuine ownership and influence from day one, leading senior-level customer conversations, shaping account strategy and driving performance rather than simply supporting existing plans.

This is a full-time permanent position, based at their head office in Leicestershire.

Ideal Requirements

• Able to hit the ground running with proven experience handling buyer objections
• Well organised, commercially minded and confident in negotiating to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
• Previous experience operating as a National Account Manager within healthcare or FMCG environments

Role Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of national-level accounts, with responsibility for driving performance rather than supporting from the sidelines
• Lead commercial conversations with confidence, including negotiations, objections and strategic account discussions
• Step into a visible role within the business, influencing decisions and shaping how accounts are managed and grown
• Operate with the maturity and accountability expected at National Account Manager level, bringing ideas, solutions and momentum rather than waiting for direction
