Job Description:

Service Care Solutions is working with a dynamic local authority, based in Nottingham, which is looking to recruit an experienced Planning and Environment Team Leader. This role would be suitable for a highly experienced solicitor who has been in a similar position previously.
 
Role: Planning and Environment Team Leader
Location: Nottingham – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £60 - £65ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £52.76 - £57.11ph
Contract Length: 6 – 9 months
 
The Role

• This senior role sits within Legal Services and involves managing a small, friendly team.
• Advise across Planning, Highways, licensing under the Licensing Act 2003, taxi licensing, pollution control, food, health & safety, trading standards and safer housing.
• The team also advises Planning, Licensing and Regulatory, and Appeals Committees.
• Attend and advise at Planning Committee.

About You

• 5+ years’ of PQE in Planning and Environment Law as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Team leadership experience.
• Strong drafting, advisory and committee experience.
