Location: Leicester
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour
Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 4:30pm

• Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm
  Type: Temporary (with potential to go permanent)
  Start Date: Immediate

We are hiring a Press Brake Operative

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join a well-established sheet metal manufacturing company based in Leicester. This role is within a busy but well-organised fabrication environment, where quality and accuracy are key. You will play an important part in ensuring components are produced to specification and delivered on time.

Duties of a Press Brake Operative

Working within the fabrication / sheet metal team, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating CNC press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Setting and adjusting press brake machines where required

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills and Experience Required

As a Press Brake Operative, you should have experience with:

• Operating press brake machines (CNC preferred)

• Working with sheet metal in a manufacturing or fabrication setting

It would also be beneficial if you have:

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal English

• Reliable transport to and from the Leicester site
