Press Brake Setter / Operator

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join our production team on a temp-to-perm basis. Working with Amada CNC press brakes, you'll be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining high standards of quality in the manufacture of sheet metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate Amada press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal parts
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Select and install appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings as required
• Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain workflow efficiency
• Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area

About You:

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator, ideally on Amada machinery
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and progress

What's on Offer:

• Hourly rate of £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Day shift only - early finish at 4pm, Monday to Friday
