SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - Hinckley
Daily Rate: £105 | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start

We're working in close partnership with a specialist school in Hinckley to recruit a skilled and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5-11 with a range of complex needs.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, offering a daily rate of £105. You'll be joining a dedicated team focused on providing high-quality education and care for children who require additional support to thrive in a mainstream or specialist setting.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping children with additional needs access learning, develop social skills, and grow in confidence. You'll be supporting both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis, working closely with teachers and other professionals to implement strategies tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting children with complex SEN (including Autism, ADHD, and communication needs)
Delivering targeted support under the guidance of teaching staff and therapists
Building strong, trusting relationships with children to help them feel safe and supported
Assisting with personal care tasks if required
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in daily school life
We'd Love to Hear from You if You Have:
Previous experience working in a UK SEN school or setting
A solid understanding of complex needs in children aged 5-11
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to behaviour and emotional regulation
The ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
