We are currently recruiting qualified and enthusiastic Primary School Teachers to work in a variety of primary schools across Derbyshire. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time and day-to-day cover roles, making this ideal for teachers seeking flexibility or longer-term placements.
Role Overview:
As a Primary School Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. You will follow school policies and the national curriculum while supporting pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
Support pupils' learning, development and emotional wellbeing
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress where required
Follow all safeguarding and school policies and procedures
Work collaboratively with school staff and provide feedback when covering classes
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (KS1 and/or KS2)
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different schools and year groups
A professional, reliable and flexible approach
