Job Title: Production Manager – Digital Print & Finishing
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee a busy digital print and finishing department. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage workflow, maintain quality standards and ensure every job goes out on time.

About the Role:
You’ll take full ownership of the department, managing production schedules, leading a small team and operating key machinery when needed. The environment is fast paced, reactive and demands someone with confidence, precision and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily operations within the digital print & finishing department
  
• Operate and maintain machinery including: Agfa Tauro H2500 UV LED Printer (Sheetfed & RtR), HP Latex R1000 (Sheetfed & RtR), Zund & Dyss cutting tables, Veloblade Nexus, Konica small format printer, Guillotines, laminating tables, and other finishing equipment
  
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet tight deadlines
  
• Lead and motivate the team to maintain high quality and efficiency
  
• Ensure machines are always running smoothly and safely
  
• Collaborate with senior management to optimise workflow and output
  

About You:

• Proven experience in a print production management or supervisory role
  
• Confident operating large format digital print and finishing machinery
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
• Calm and proactive approach under pressure
