Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Order Processing Clerk to join our team. This role combines accurate data entry with general administrative support and communication between the office, production teams, and our valued clients based in Coventry.
£12.31 rising to £13 DOE - Fixed days 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with the shop floor and production teams to track and progress orders
- Communicate with clients to resolve order queries and provide updates
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and document management
- Ensure all data and records are maintained in line with company procedures
- Support internal departments with ad hoc administrative duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across departments and with clients
- Previous experience in an administrative or order processing role (preferred but not essential)
- Comfortable using basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a busy environment
- A team player with a proactive attitude
