Sales Designer 

Leicester 

Full time | Permanent

Tuesday to Saturday (phone number removed)pm 

Salary Circa £30k + Commission 

We are looking for a creative and client facing furniture designer to join our Leicester based clients. 

The successful candidate will work with clients from the initial enquiry, organising a home visit with clients to discuss requirements and use their knowledge and experience to create bespoke furniture that exceeds the clients functionality and aesthetic requirements. 

Once they have discussed the clients brief they will work on the furniture designs (using sketchup) for clients approval and then manage each project working closely with the production team until installation. 

Role | Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients into the showroom and handling initial enquiries 
• Following up on warm leads via phone/email 
• Scheduling client visits & visiting clients (working day only) 
• Maximising upsell opportunities 
• Using sketchup to create bespoke furniture designs 
• Following each project from start to finish (excluding installation) including: admin, payments, updating project files and communicating with clients. 
• Working with production, internal teams to ensure clients needs are met

Skills| Experience: 

• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Passionate about design and proficient in sketchup 
• Full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for travelling to customers' homes (mileage paid) 
• Previous work experience in a sales or design role (ideally fitted furniture) 
• Experience scheduling appointments and upselling 
• Organised and able to follow projects/orders from start to finish
• Trustworthy and reliable – provides a strong representation of the company
